Default Fitment options, which would be easiest ?

Hi guys,

Just doing some rough calculations for my new split rims, I have 2 options I can go with depending on how I use the lips.

Which one of these options would potentially be easier to fit ?

17x8.5 +35 (6.5" barrel, 2" lip) Front
17x9.5" +35 (7" barrel, 2.5" lip) Rear

OR

17x9 +47 (7” barrel, 2” lip) Front
17x9 +22 (6.5” barrel, 2.5” lip) Rear

Thanks

Niether are a good fit. The first option is aggressive all the way around while the second option is super aggressive the in the rear while being pretty conservative in the front. I guess the one that would look the most uniform is the first option but it still isn't going to fit very well.

Thanks, do you think some negative camber and the roll would be enough ?

Limited to those wheel size options, I would go with 17x9 +47 all around and 235/40-17 fronts with 245 or 255/40-17 rears.
Negative camber within reason (-3 degrees) isn't terrible for tire life as long as toe is minimized, and good for cornering grip

Thanks, ZDan, I cant go +47 all round as Ill be using a 2" lip and a 2.5" lip. So if I go +47 in the front it will have to be +22 at the rear.

Basically I have a 6.5" and a 7" Barrel and a 2" and a 2.5" Lip so I can use them in any orientation.

Thanks !

Enh. Maybe. You'd probably be looking at -3 camber all around. Like I said neither choice is great.

tire sizes would be 215/45 up front and 245/40 at the rear.

So I made a mistake with the offsets !

Having had someone properly work it out for me the actual wheel sizes are:

17x8.5 +41
17x9.5 +41

How do I stand with fitment now ?

Thanks

Better, but you'll still probably need to have a slight flare on the fronts. All is really gonna depend on how lowered you are.
