Default fitment question

Ok I have been debating on buying these rims for 2 weeks now. I have been going through all kinds of threads with people that have the same fitment and for some reason the person never post pictures of the rims once they are on the car or give feed back on how the car rides or rubbing issues.....
The rims I am looking at are
F-18x8 +38 lip size 1.25"
R-18x9 +38 lip size 2.5"

I am not lowered and I really don't plan on lowering the car. I do drive a lot and would like to get as much out of my tires as I can. If I've done the research right on tire size then I could do 235 on the front and 255 on the rear.... Will I need a fender roll and a tab relocation? I have read mix answer on this and would like to double check. The place I am buying from guaranteed fitment and say these should be fine on the car with no rubbing issues but just wanted to double check

Thank you for any help

Chris

Wrong. They will rub. You must roll all the fenders even at stock ride height. Whoever told you that doesn't know these cars at all. Get the fenders rolled and the tabs relocated and you should be ok with the tire sizes. I'd stick to a 225 in the front. Also plan on an alignment as well to fine tune it.

Also I'd be willing to bet you rethink your stance on lowering once they are on there.

so I decided to stop being cheap and look for some better fitment rims for my S. So I bought some bbs 17x8 and 17x9 +42. I do plan on lowering the rear some other then that I am extremely happy with the purchase!
