Hey guys I found a deal on a set of volks 17x8.5+40 wheels. I kno people previously fit this offset and size for the street. My application would be 100% for the track so I want to make sure that there is no rubbing during compression. I am prepared to roll my fenders, but can't pull them since the league I'm entering doesn't allow it. Can I make this work while being lowered by 1.5 inch or so? Thanks!

 

Depends on what size tires + camber you want?

I'm thinking those are a little to aggressive for track wheels (if you want 255s) unless you could pull them which you said you couldn't. I think you would rub under full compression.
