Default Flat spotting

I've had a ton of tires in my lifetme but i've never had a tire flat spot like the Yoko Avs ES100. After a week of sitting it takes a few miles to work the thump out. Air pressures are fine. Anyone else get a brand or make that flat spots like crazy?

Almost all of the new performance tires use nylo in the belt package and you can get the flat spotting you are talking about. It is not a defect and will go away after the tire heats up. I know it can be annoying but it does create a lighter weight tire for better handling.
