Footwork Plan
Hey everybody...
I finally organized my decisions and am getting ready to order all of the components. Please advice and give your opinions on the different parts below:
Wheels:
Volk Racing 17x7.5+48F, 17x9+65R
Stoptech BBK. Kics 10mm HubCentric Spacer. Extended lugs, and Moteki open ended lug nuts.
Goodyear F1 GS-D3 215F and 255R.
The wheels, brakes, lug nuts, and spacer are all ordered. Now it's down to the tires.
I never got a positive answer on which spacer for the brakes, so I am taking a gamble with the 10mm.
They'll stick out a little wide, so I want a 215 front tire, cambered in, with Buddy Club Race Spec coilovers.
I don't want to roll the fenders, but does anybody remove the inner plastic lining? I could do that of course...
Lastly, the Goodyear tires are much cheaper than the PS2 or S03. They had slightly lower stats on TireRack, but better reviews. I wanted a 265R, mainly because I hope to go FI in the future and already have 4.44s, but I hear 255 does the job better?
Thanks in advance!

All three of those tires are very good. I would say that the PS2 would be the best handling of the three. The S03 over the life of the tire will be better in the rain. The GSD3 is a fair amount cheaper and a very good option. It was rated number one in a test Car and Driver did here at Tire Rack.
If I can help let me know.

Hi Jim - I'll most likely be ordering this week unless Michelin and Dunlop hurry up with their responses. It was I that emailed you the other day explaining my situation briefly. Let me know!
And I'm still up in the air, but I think I'll go with the Goodyear if for nothing else the price at the moment.
