Default front right tire not holding pressure

My s2000 is in storage and wont hold pressure at 45 psi like suggested for winter storage. It sits at about 20-25 psi. When I use a tire pressure gauge to check pressure it releases air even when it is fully pressed into the stem. Does this mean it’s a bad stem and needs to be replaced? The car is currently sitting on one inch insulation scraps. Should I remove the wheel and bring it to a shop to be fixed or should I hold out until summer to drive it there? Will removing the wheel affect the wheel alignment I got during fall?
Suggestions?
Thanks!

could be stem could be a small hole that holds up to 20-25 psi also could b that the bead didn't seat properly with the rim due to residue left over from previous tires and oxidation.

take the wheel off the car(it will not messup ur alignment) pump it up to like 40-45 psi grab a bottle of windex(any soap and water mixture) and start spraying it down. wherever u see bubbles thats where the leak is.

Back S2k is right. There could be a number of reasons why they are loosing pressure. You can also take the wheel and tire into a tire shop where they can put it in a dunk tank.
