Ive got them now because I was on a budget at the time and i wanted to try something new. Id hardly classify them as an UHP summer tire. The dry grip is okay; not quite on par with the BFG sport comp 2. Responsiveness is poor; only slightly better than my snow tires. Feedback is also poor. if you don't push the car then they are satisfactory. But make sure you get your tire pressures dialed in! Slightly too low of pressure and the tires will scream at you even if you are only lightly pushing the car. Get them slightly too high and they wont communicate at all with you. On a positive note, I will have to say that the grip levels dont seem to drop off very much even in the heavy rain. But as any summer tire goes, watch out for standing water. Over all Id say the tires have decent traction when propelling the car forward but not so much when trying to get it around a corner. These tires are good for a tame driver, but not so much for the level of performance the s2000 has to offer. Hope this helped.

Ps. My setup is 235/45/R17 on 17X9 +45 squared.

Any reason why you went with 235/45 instead of 245/40?

Wheel fitment issue. slightly stretching the 235 keeps the shoulder of the tire from extending wider than the fender.
