Default Gold STI BBS wheels + BerlinaBlack AP1

2005 Gold BBS Subi STI wheels, on my AP1 Berlina Black s2k.

STI BBS wheels (all 4) 225/45/17 +53 offset
Stock ap1 front wheels 225/50/16 +55 offset, and rear 205/55/16 +65 offset

The rear wheels will be the same width, and diameter as stock.
The front will be the same diameter as stock, but a little bit wider.

What do you guys think? yes, no, maybe?
Will the offset of the BBS wheels make this impossible?

Found this online, not the right colors, but same setup.

Thanks, Samus.

those 17s look pretty small to me, perhaps those fat tires?

they have that ap2 v1/2 wheels' oem look
i think they'll look pretty nice in gold, i'd say go for it

You will need to bore out the wheels to fit over the front hub.

Been thinking of trying to find a set of those to run as my winter wheels. someone probably has some that are curbed bad and will get rid of them for cheap.

Like someone said above, you just need to find a good machine shop to bore out the wheels. I believe the hub size of the wheel is 56.1, which is to say, a lot smaller than the s2k's. Also, the 2005-2007 BBS wheels are 17x8, so the rears will still be .5 inch narrower than an AP2 rear wheel.

If you can buy the STi wheels at the right price, the economics will work out (boring by a good machine shop can run $200, at least in my town). Aesthetically it'll look OK, but personally I like to be wowed if going through the expense of a wheel mod.

Watch your technique running non-staggered on an AP1.

Thats what im worried about now, running non staggered..
Looks like it would be a better idea just to buy staggered rims that dont need boring..
I almost bought the rims for 650 shipped.. but i suppose ill put that money towards something elss..

Thank you guys!
