Default Got my car aligned for the first time today.

Well, since I just got some new tires, I thought it wise to get the alignment checked. I personally like how the car drove beforehand. During the alignment the tech let me look at how it was set up compared to stock. Every setting on my car was off by at least 1/2 degree. Most of it was around a full degree with some being more. Now I realize that the Honda specs have a pretty broad range, but they weren't even off in the same direction for the fronts or rears. That seems a little messed up to me. So I got it all back to as close to the factory specs as I could and really enjoy the car more now. The back end moves more like I would expect a rear drive sports car to. Granted, I'm running on Kuhmo tires right now because I can't afford anything better, but I don't dislike them. I have had Kuhmo tires before and had a pretty good idea of the grip I would be getting with them and was not disappointed. All that to say: If you have not gotten the alignment done on the car, get it done as soon as you can. I find it ridiculous that the factory would let the car go with the alignment it had.

Oh, and on a side note, I took my car to the local Honda dealership and they couldn't align the S. I found this to be really funny. They said that their equipment is too old and was not deigned to take a car that low to the ground. Go figure.

The alignment is the main reason why the rear tires wear so quick. Good luck with the Kumho.
