Default Got some used rims yesterday, installed them today!

Got these rims from a member on here and a local buddy of mine. It was an awesome deal for the rims and tires. They are imitation works vsxx, well sorta looks like them. He didnt have caps for them, but fitted my oen ones. The tires are Falken Azenis 225/45/r17 front and 255/40/r17 rears. I know that might be a correct height for the speedo. The fronts are probably at 60% tread and rears at 50%. Plan to get newer tires soon. They are 17x7.5 all around. Which will be fine for now. I spent a while cleaning them up. Plan to paint or powder coat them black, but leave the polished lip. Now I need some lowering springs! Let me know what ya guys think?

Yeah, I thought that was cool too! They didn't go on 100%. But needed something to cover the holes.

Did a concept 2 drawing 2 angles. This time painted front lip, top mirror, rear spoiler, tail lights, and rims black. Just having fun with ideas now. Probably will do the front lip and tail lights though. IMO it looks good.

my $0.02
I think a dark gunmetal color for the center of the rims would look better than black. It shows more of the details of the spokes and is not as common as the black rim / polished lip combo.
Please do not paint the mirrors- that looks horrible.
Keep the lip the same color as the car.
The rear spoiler looks good painted black since the trunk is black.
Tail lights look good tinted.
Lowering springs would make it look a lot better.

Lowering definitely! With the rims. Around here I see too many style like these rim in gun metal. I would do gunmetal if I had the darker grey color though! Besides the rims, anything on the car would never be paint. I would wrap it in black vinyl. Gives the illusion of paint. Also if I ever wanted to go back or change my mind. I could just pull it off. But just was playing around on my ipad2. Now I got a decent photo editing program. Sure beats getting on the pc and using a mouse. I bought this stylus and It makes it so easy to draw! I rather play around with editing, than experimenting on the actual car. Save time and material cost down!

Meh, don't paint the rims black. It would definitely be a downgrade from the way they are now. Two tone black rims just scream "rice" to me. The straight silver finish has a very clean, classy look.
