Have any experience with Hankook td?
From what I have read, the "two day" thing was the soft compound only. The hard compound didn't have the same grip levels (more like a grippier NT01 over Hoosier levels of grip from the soft) but had much longer longevity. How long that really is, I guess we'll have to see.
Great write up man. Thanks for all the info. I already ordered the TD in 255 17. I got em for 460$ shipped that's why I wanted to try then cuz they were on a massive deal.
What camber were u running all around? And tire temps cold?
I can easily fit a 305 in the rear but no need. I like the 255s. Maybe when boost arrives Il need to go that big but not yet.
i like tires that scream back at me to let me know their limits just like the rs3. That's good news!!

Camber was -2.6 front, -2.6 rear (my front is limited due to a bent knuckle, it wanted more than -2.6). I didn't take pyrometer temps but weather was 45-65 degrees through the day, so nice and cool. These tires seem to have pretty strong sidewalls so I think you can run less camber than some other tires.
I got mine cheap, too. I'm considering ordering another set just to make sure I get some more before they disappear.

Well, I pulled the trigger on a set of C3 for $436 shipped. Need to kill them before I get to some S2K Challenge events in 2018 so we will see how they work. I think I've got two days left on the RT615Ks so I should be mounting these towards the end of January. If they last 5 days they are a steal of a deal and about even with running a 200TW non-cheater tire in terms of cost/day. They cannot possibly be as loud as the Nexen SUR4.
