Default Help choose my tire sizes..

I have an 06 s2000. Currently i have volk ce28s 17x7.5, 17x9 on standard s2000 offsets. 215/45 and 245/40 tires.

I just picked up a set of new work s1rs 17x8 +40, 17x9 +38. I am lowered on espiler springs currently. Which tire sizes should I run on these new wheels? 235-40 or 214-45 for front? I will prob stick with 245-40 in the rear. My rear quarters are rolled but not pulled. im plannign on rolling the front fenders.

Any one have any information for this setup?

I would stick to the same sizes you are currently running.

235/40/17, 245/40/17 should not be difficult to fit and the larger tire up front would be nice for any kind of aggressive driving, honestly you will probably have more trouble with the rear than the front at those sizes.

215/45/17, 245/40/17 is also a good stagger when considering OD. But I also feel that the car may look a bit unbalanced when observing tire to fender gap in the front compared to the rear - also the stagger would be a bit on the large side and may have a negative effect on driving feel.

Tires should not be used to decrease the fender gap. If that is a concern lower the car. If you want a slightly wider front tire a 225/45/17 is plenty.
