Default Help - First Time Tire Replacement

Hi Jim,
I have a 2005 S2000 with close to 17,000 miles on original OEM tires. My rear tires need replacement.
1. My front tires are still good. Is your recommendation to just replace to rears? Any setbacks (performance, safety, etc) I should consider in replacing the rears only versus all 4 tires? Based on your experience, is it normal for owners to replace the fronts only when needed and just keep replacing the rears as needed?
2. Is the Potenza RE050 Rear: 245/40ZR17 the correct tire for the rear? What’s the best price tiretrack can offer?
3. Sears has a Bridgestone Potenza RE050 MOExtended. What does MO Extended mean?
Thanks

this isn't Jim but its fine to just replace the rears as long as the front is still good.

That is a Mercedes Benz run flat tire and not the same tire for your car. The original equipment tire I have in stock at 209.00 each.
Give me a call if I can help with the tires.
