You should add BFGoodrich KDW2 tires also, they are not the most expensive but offer great performance.

Cool thanks for the suggestions guys... but why?

What makes the recommended tires better than the others?

The Sumitomo's are cheapest, but the Falkens are close, and also great tires...

Take a look on our web site for our tire test. You will also see survey information on all of the tires. From what Bridgestone tells me the RE070 is going to be a great tire with even better handling than the RE-01R. If money is no object and you are looking for the best traction and handling I would look at the RE070 or the RE-01R.

What do you think about the Sumitomo's? They are the cheapest ones, I know, but i've heard they are rated better than the RE050's?

Money is definatly an object... however, It is not the deciding factor, ill spend more if it is well worth it. I bought 17x7 all the way around and put some crappy Kelly Pacemark tires on it. Never again will I sacrifice performance for money. The s2000 deserves better
