Default Help with offset numbers

Hi there! Needs some help to identify my options with wheels/tire sizes

Car: 2005 AP2 with Downforce front fenders (+30mm) and ASM rear overfenders (not even sure how much more offset it adds) on AP2 struts with Swift Spec R springs now.
Currently I am on my old wheels which are Prodrive GC07C 17x7.5 +44 front and 17x8.5 +54
Car looks very weird with these offsets.

Question #1: How to calculate what size of spacers I need in order to improve the look, but avoid any rubbing, wheels sticking out.

Question #2: Any real concerns using spacers vs. extended studs?

Question #3: If I choose to upgrade wheels. Say I like Weds TC105N or TC105X and checked the specs on their site.
With wheel widths(TC105N): 8.5 front +32 and 9.5 back +32 would that be too aggressive or too conservative considering my +30mm extra space at the front and whatever ASM overfenders (I assume also ~30mm) give in the back?
With wheel width(TC105X): 9.0 front (+25 or +35) and 9.5 back (+32) - same question.
These specific offsets I picked only because those are for more concave wheels, but any hints about those numbers are greatly appreciated.

Or, what would be the best method to figure out exact math for offsets/wheel width?

1. Go to https://www.willtheyfit.com/
2. Fill in current wheel specs
3. Fill in new wheel specs
4. Look at difference in poke
5. Go look at your car and measure if the new amount of poke would be what you want
6. ????
7. Profit

Spacers just straight up increase poke by the width of the spacer.

Extended studs doesn't do anything for fitment.

Thanks for the site, will try to use it.

As for spacers vs studs, I know studs alone don't make any difference. I guess the right question is - are spacers with its own studs like Eibach safe comparing to studs + studless spacers?

This is the same fender setup I currently have. You should be able to add 20mm spacers easily. I run 17x9 +43 in front and 17x10 +35 in the rear. I have run 17x10 +35 square and it fit though I have more adjustment with coilovers and roll center adjusters and it isn't really something I would recommend. Your wheels are still going to look pretty weird since they are so narrow for a widebody so I would start looking for wider wheels.

Either option here should would but I would avoid the +25 option. I would also look at what tire sizes you want to run and see what is available in those tire sizes. The second option would let you run 245/40/17 in front and a 255/40/17 in the rear. The first option you would be in a bit of a weirder spot with the front wheel. A 245 would still work but be a little more pinched.

Good info, thanks!
