Why do people have such an aversion to just buying wheels that fit the car?

 

because a lot of people think that looks out weigh proper function.

 

lol im only this way because s2000 isnt my only car i also have a 10sec allmotor eg and a 500whp ek

 

if i decide to circuit the s2000 prolly be on sum slicks lol

Because "s2000 spec" is like +50 front +63 rear, which basically makes every wheel out there look worse than stock. The little fender work required to run some more aggressive sized wheels is well worth it.

 

To sum it up..S2 isn't the car for rims, because all oem spec or close to them look ugly as hell. You have to do some fender rolling & modifications to get nice wheels. Unless you want the many craigslist type wheels. Most S2s I see have ugly spoke wheels that are black or gunmetal. The stuff you see on craigslist,. hahaha...
