Default Help with tire size

I need help here people.

I found the wheel that i want, they're SSR Type C RS.

Front are 17x8 with +48mm offset.
Rear are 17x9.5 with +65mm offset.

Now the problem start here.I want to put 225/45R17 in the front and 255/40R17 in the back. After a little search, it seems like i will have rubbing problem in the front.

I will drop the car, maybe 1.5 inch, nothing more.

So can I go with the setup that i mention are is there a better one?

Thanks
Carl

He is asking about the front not the rear... read the post.

I have ran those offsets and tire size before and have not had a issue. There is so many factors that will tell if you rub or not... camber, tire used, spring rates etc etc.

It is hard to tell if it will rub just by the wheel and tire specs alone.

So the wheel/tire setup do fit, but now i need to find the right suspension setup to go with the wheel/tire setup.

What do you Suggest?

I'm new to suspension setup and everything.

I know what camber, toe in toe out, caster, spring rate mean, but i just can't figure what to go with.

All i know, is that i want 1 inch to 1.5 inch drop, nothing more.Oh i forgot, no rubbing

Excellent performing road hugging specs for you, my personal custom set up.

camber F/-1.5 R/-2.25

tow F/ 0 R/+4

caster +6.5

I am lowered about 2.5" but you can get same spec with more conservative drop

Sure no prob.

I run the Buddy Club race spec. Very good choice. They have allot of strong points over coilovers in the same price range. Ajustabilty range and ease of hight control is just a few.
