Default Help with tire size selection

I'm getting 17x7.5 F and 17x9 wheels. I decided on 225/45/17 and 255/40/17 S03 but my tire shop bought a whole bunch of S-02 at really low prices, problem is they don't have 225/45/17 for the front. Only 205/50/17.

The shop is a Bridgestone dealer. The S03 will be $1500 CAD installed while the S02 will be $1000CAD.

I'm not sure about the 205F/255R S02 combination. I'm sure it will look fine but will it handle properly?

Any insight is appreciated.

Thanks for the info. I'm going with the S03. The last time I compromised on tires I wasn't happy.
