Default Help with Tyre Sizes 18'' & Offset

I finally decided to go with AZEV 18'' TYPE M and TOYO TS-1 Tires.

Here are their specs :

Front 18''x 8,5'' ET 50.
Rear 18''x 10'' ET 52.

After my research I figure that I should go with :

Front 225/40/18
Rear 255/35/18 or maybe if can (wider) 265/30/18 ??

Azev in their web site www.azev.com claim that above sizes & offset can fit S2000.

What do you think for the above? Should I proceed with ordering them??
I am a little bit confused with the offsets since the stock is +55F and +65R.

Thanks in advance

NO

This wheel's offset is totally wrong for the s2000.

18x8.5 +50 will rub. Your car lowered or NOT. If you plan to drive on public roads. It will rub.

18x10 +52 will make your wheel stick out so far over the fender. It would look dumb. Not to mention it will rub.

To fit 225 on a 8.5 wheel is stretching it. And to fit a 265 in the back, you can say good bye to your fenders.

If azev claim this wheel fit for s2000 on their website. Obviously they don't know their wheels or they cars.

Recommended sizes

7.5 front +50
8 rear +50

7.5 +50
8.5 +50

8 +61
9 +61

8 +61
10 +72

R e a l l y ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

The weird thing is that AZEV is consider to be a major wheel manufacturer in Europe (Germany) with a very good reputation.
For above setup for the S, they claim to have even a TUV certificate. http://www.azev.com/index_eng.html (car finder first)

With a closer look to the ''M'' wheel type, they state the following offset in mm :

18 x 8,5 30 to 55*
18 x 10 30 to 50*

* with adapter disc possible from offset 0-25 (extra charge)

I find difficult to believe that AZEV is so wrong after having a cert for this but on the other hand it will not be the first time a wheel manufacturer to say crap about something.

Anyway, I am still confused.

Jeff is right, the rears are too wide with too low of a offset for any kind of daily driving.

I have a lot of Euro customers from Germany. M3 especially. that call us for Volk wheels.
