Default Help on Volk TE Fitment

My brother just picked up a S2K today.
I have a set of TE-37. 17's.
17 x 7.5
40 mm Offset

Tires are 215 / 40 / 17

These were on my prelude. Will they fit the S2K? He is stock height right now.
Thanks.

at stock height he'll be ok - they'd stick out a fair bit though.

ANd the tires are a little on the skinny side.

Actually that offset and size wheels is great for the bbk guys for the S2k. I would however switch out the rear to something wider.

I am going to be running a 17x7.5 +40 front with a spacer at a 3 inch drop but I do have wider front fenders but for OEM fenders at stock height you should be fine.

A 7.5 inch wheel with a 40 offset should not stick out. A 8 inch wheel with a 40 offset is just about flush with the fender, so if you go with 7.5, they'll tuck under the fender by about 6 mm.

You do ideally want to run something wider in the rear than the front, tho. Unless you have a gargantuan front sway bar.

I would think 17X7.5 +40 all the way around isn't a very good idea. I would suggest to get the correct optimal size so there won't be issues in the future.

aspect ration on 17 inch tires should be 45 front and 40 rear unless you are running uncommon tire width.
