An idiot's guide to Stance
I'm new to car modifications of any sort. I usually don't feel comfortable doing anything remotely extensive myself. With that said, I've been wanting to get some wheels (17 x 9 + 45), tires (255's or 245's), and coilovers. I'd plan to run a finger wheel gap and slight camber, but I'd surely have to roll fenders for my preferred setup to fit. My question is along the lines of the proper process for installing everything. Can I have my fenders rolled first, before getting the wheels/tires/coils, or would I need to have everything installed, then roll, then drop height, then get an alignment? I'm trying to do it in the least amount of steps possible, so if I can do it with only one trip to the shop, that would be perfect.
Like I said, dumb question, but your input is important to me.

Roll will need to be done to be safe, so I would get your fenders rolled now, then it wont matter what your current alignment is. Once you get your wheels/tires on the car along with your coilovers/drop, then take in for an alignment. Done.
Personally, i would Roll your fenders first before you change your suspension. On mine i had to put the roller to the shortest setting just to get it to even fit in the fender and it made rolling/pulling kind of difficult. if you're not doing the work though i would say who cares.
Here is the order
1. Roll Fenders and relocate rear tab
2. Buy and install coilovers. Get used to driving the car lowered and let them settle.
3. Put wheels on.
If steps 2 and 3 have a significant amount of time in between steps 2 and 3 get an alignment done after about a week or 2 of driving with the coilovers.
