Default Jim, I need tires

Currently I'm running the OEM RE050 front:215/45R17 rear:245/40R17s on MF-10s, which are front:17 x 7.5 offset 52, rear:17 x 8.5 offset 59. The rear tires fit perfectly, but it seems that the fronts are stretching, and don't look right! I'm looking to get 4 new re-11s, and I'm wondering what size would be more appropriate for the fronts, assuming the rears will fit the same.
Jim, I'm hoping you can chime in here and perhaps PM me a quote on getting them shipped to 31605. Thanks.

I would look at the 225/45R17 and 255/40R17 if you think the front needs a little more tire. You will retain the stagger the car came with and get more tire on the road.
The delivered price would be 916.04 total. They do have a 100.00 mail in rebate on the set of four tires. If I can help let me know.
Thank you,

How much wider would the 255s be than the 245s I'm currently running? I don't have very much room between my tires and fenders, and I like how the tires sit flush with the wheels and create a straight line. Would the 255s distort that line much? Or is it best to upgrade to 255s in the rear since I'm already increasing my tire width in the front?

bump
Can anyone else chime in on what 255s look like on a stock size rear wheel? With 225s in the front and 245s in the back, will it throw off my balance?
