Default Just bought Regamasters, need tire sizing advice

Almost embarrassed to ask this, but figure it's better to ask than get stuck... So I was able to get my hands on a set of new Regamasters in "S2000 staggered fitment", but now I'm unsure of proper fitment.
The fronts are 17x8 +38 and rears 17x9.5 +45. My '06 is not lowered, but has rolled fenders. No longer tracking the car.

What do you think: will 225/45 in front and 245/40's in back fit OK? Or will they be too stretched? (not a fan)
Is there better sizing recommendation I should consider?
I'm perplexed by the 'S2000 fitment' description of these wheels, versus the S2KI fitment guide stating these will be an issue.
Am I screwed?

Any thoughts / ideas / recommendations are welcome.

225/45 and 255/40 is what you want

Its going to look like a rollerskate at stock height.

Thanks for the recommendation. Lowering will be in next year's budget - with new coilovers.

Once you lower you'll have to relocate the rear fender tab as well. Depending on how you rolled your fenders, you'll likely need a flat roll in the rear too for those specs.

And some camber. Those are fairly aggressive spec but doable. I agree with the 225 and 255 sizing for the tires.
