Default Square Setup on OEM Wheels

Looking to see if anyone has tried this. Very much looking to keep the exterior of my car OEM looking, but want to go with a square wheel setup for better stopping power and a more oversteer. I just so happen to be in possession of two sets of AP2 V1 OEM wheels and I'd like to use the rear wheels on the front end. I'm aware the center bore sizes are different, and I have access to machining equipment that will allow me to bore it out more. My question isn't necessarily about the process, but more whether anyone else has done this and whether or not they were pleased with the results. My biggest concern is that the difference in offset will cause the car to look goofy, or worse, ruin the handling. I also don't want to mess up a good set of wheels if a bunch of people have tried this and don't like it. Not opposed to going with an aftermarket square setup, bud I'm not looking to lower the car and I'm not crazy about the look of aftermarkets on OEM ride height. Also, this option would definitely be a little cheaper. Thanks in advance for your help!

I would ask yourself what is the main purpose of running an OEM square set up? Effectively it would be the same as running an aftermarket set of wheels in a square set up so the difference in fitment front and rear and the effect on handling would still be the same. With more front end grip, you'll be shifting the handling to more tail happy but the front end will be quite heavy as well. If you're not looking to lower the car or change anything else, I'd say there's no point in running a square set up.

I did bore out a set of V3's for the square set. did that to be able to rotate them front to back at any time. I prefer the square set over stagger one. Really love the steering response and braking with that. Only issue for me is the rubbing at full lock left of right. Car is not lowered.
I just purchased a square set of Apex VS-5RS 17X9 +61 wheels for the S2K.

Not I! I have not tried it. I went from OEM AP1 wheels to an STR setup on my car.

It'll work fine.

The difference in offset won't ruin the handling.
