I got mine done there last monday, lol. They were talking about a guy coming in with my exact car the week before, I guess it was you.
What Specs did you get? Did Gabe let you sit in the car while he worked on it? He knocked mine out in about 20 mins. The guy is amazing.

I'd trust coopers just as much as Falken or Fuzions....they're all cheap performance tires.

Why people go for 'cheap' tires is beyond me. Spending an extra $100-200 on tires is well worth the investment.
Static balancing isn't worth shit. Light weight wheels like the RPF1 react even stronger to tire imbalances. One more vote here for quality tires, the only link you have with the road are your tires, why gamble?

I understand why people say that tires are important but its not like I'm running on some round cardboard boxes....different tires suite different people and different budgets. And for me, longevity and confort is a little more important than max gripe.
With that said, I just got back from getting my wheels balanced. The car feels much better and vibration free
I actually wanna start auto-xing since I got these new wheels so the kuhmo/cooper combo isn't going to last long. Then I'll consider some "Name Brand" tires.
I appreciate the advice though.
I've seen well over a dozen S2000s totaled while riding on crappy and/or bald rear tires. You never know what is going to happen out on the street and the S2000 is an extremely agile car for accident avoidance. If I need to do a sudden avoidance maneuver I want the car to go where I drive it, and not sideways into traffic or a lightpole. There is a very good reason that people gave you shit about running Fuzions and Coopers. It's not about extracting every ounce of performance, on an S2000 it is a basic safety issue.
Just putting out another source for you guys in the Atlanta area. I recently had new wheels/tires and coilovers installed on my s2000. I had the suspension and alignment work done by Dean Hendrikse, the owner of America's Best Automotive up in Alpharetta.
He also is truly amazing. Lots of us local s2000 guys wouldn't go anywhere else, and the local FAF Motorcars nearby , that sells the new Ferraris and Maseratis bring their cars to Dean for suspension set-up. I figured if it's good enough for a new Ferrari dealer, it's good enough for me!
