Default Just thought i shared!

Just ordered my xxr 698! Pre-Order that is..So its going to be a long ass 1.5 months until they start shipping it. Can't wait!! will updated a month n half from now haha..
But seriously what would you guys recommend on the tires. I went with the 18x9 +35. How my car sits right now..it has 17x9 +45 rpf1s, lowered about 2 inch.Rolled fronts and rear fenders..w/UK alignment specs...I would like to have at most add -2.5 camber rear and -2 camber front..BUT prefer leave the body/suspension as it is right now..reason why I don't want to mess with my fenders anymore..(would like to be able to swap my rpf1 back and forth when i desired) My suggestion are 215/35 and 225/40? yay? nay?

Ugh NAY and nay to the wheels as well. Those tires are way to tiny. Run 2.5 degrees and run a 245/35/18 rear and a 225/40/18 front. You definitely do not want a 215/35 that is an incredibly small sidewall and much shorter rolling diameter than OEM. Not sure if you realize the serious downgrade in wheel you are doing with this. the XXR's weigh a lot more than the RFP1's and fit much worse. I would stay with you current setup which I hope you are running at least 245/40/17's all around.

FINALLY..its here, after 5 brutal months. I know some of you may not approve these wheels but, i just thought i share. Does anyone has +35 offset wheels that they had manage to fit into the S. chassis. From the pic. i posted, i will definitaly need some work, either more camber or a mild stretch. any positive SUGGESTIONS? Here are some pic. for those that are wondering how they look like..

Here you go. Copy the image location ie https://farm3.staticflickr.com/2932/...defd493433.jpg for your above picture. click the little icon that looks like a Polaroid and copy the link into that.

Are you trying to put 17x9 +35 on the front? It doesn't fit. I have 17x9 +43 with a 245 and I had to pull the fenders some and run -2.5. You can stretch an 215 on there and have it look terrible and ride and handle worse and maybe that will "fit".

yeah, since i bought 18x9 +35 all around, I have a spare 215/35 tire that i might just test it on for the front and see how it "looks/function." If..after that trial/error i still have room to play with, i will definitely go wider tires. My whole idea/concept is wide and flush look and functionable.
