I've noticed their website has been getting more and more user un-friendly and I now can't even access it. Does anyone know anything about their current status?

OK, false alarm, sort of. Their website was back up today and I was able to get a number and a live actual person. He said they were purchased by some conglomerate about 16 months ago but Kinesis is still an operating entity. And he was able to actually help me with my question. Man, it's sure nice to talk to a real live person vs a voice mailbox.
