Unhappy KUHMO MX

I've been driving on the Escta ASX for about a year and they worked great through the rainy season and did rather well at Button Willow when the track was wet. Well now that I've worn them out pretty good due to track alignment, I've upgraded to the MX. So I was just looking for some feed back on the MX from those who've owned them. I would like to know how well they do on the track as well your opinion comparing them to the S02.

Good tires for the money, predicatble handling and great dry weather grip. I dont think you will be disappointed with them for the price. I liked them.

The MX is about as close to the S02 as you will get on this car. They have very similar characteristics.

I like the grip, but the soft sidewalls lead to poor turn in. After a few weeks you just learn to turn sooner. I don't think that I will be going back to the S02 anytime soon.

bump, I am thinking of getting the MXs but am stumped about hte sizing, there have been so many posts about what tire size is right due to the contact patch of the oem s02s. I was thinking 205/245

I run the 205/55/16 & 225/50/16. Of course these are not the ideal sizes, but I just add more front bar to decrease the grip on the fronts. It seems to work very well for me.

I had 18s so I ran 225/40 and 275/35's, I do agree the sidewalls are not as stiff as they should be. Still great tires.
