Stock 07 alignment/suspension, I have ~15K miles on my RE-01R's. Many autocrosses/track days etc on them.

WillieGee, on the other hand, gets less than 5K per set on his Star Specs. His alignment/suspension is, how should I put this, not stock.

One thing i have noticed with the RT615's is after a few of track days, they do not grip nearly as well. The first 50% of thread is great, after that these tires go downhill. Which makes you want to replace them sooner.

Starspec on the otherhand, i hear they are good until the very last bit of thread. I have them now but still too new to tell.

I cant imagine the RE-01R's lasting any longer under the same conditions. But just think they are way more money (i am referring to non-closeout pricing) about an extra ~$300 for the set. Also i dont think you can find these anymore. They are being replaced with the RE-11's which i hear are going to cost even more then the RE-01R's.

So with consideration of what i mentioned. The price to life ratio is much better with the starspecs then other tires.

I have not had the Z1s but the RE-01Rs have lasted longer than the RT-615s with my DD and auto-x duty. Probably about 50% longer if I could guess. Also the Rs don't get as greasy when they get hot like the zenies did. They are worth the extra money IMO.

I would say it is all going to depend on how you drive the car. I would say that they are going to probably last about the same.
