pic request for custom painted red lip le37s...

reason being: I have some le37s just waiting to be slapped on my s2k, but I was wondering how to go about painting them.

I am definitely going to consider painting the insides of each spoke black (to give the rims more presence) but im debating wheather to put a red lip on them or not and I never thought the decision would be so hard so i figure ill ask the s2k community for the hell of it

heres an idea of what it would look like before and after:



WHICH ONE DO YOU LIKE BETTER?

1. Volks as is

2. Volks with inner portions of the spokes painted black

3. Volks + inner portions of the spokes painted black with red lip

4. keep the rims i have now lol

definitely YAY YAY YAY to the line out line.

when i get some ls webs or gsr blades ima powder coat them black with a yellow
outline cause my cars yellow

 

If you are painting the inside of the spokes black, leave the red off. The wheels will have too much going on.

 

do you know anyone that has painted the insides black?

 

I really like the red edge on the lip but dont like the inside of the spokes black. Id say leave the spokes alone.

 

I like the LE's as is

am i the only one?

don't do red lips, theyre just a fad

any mod you do to them will only make them harder to sell / worth less if you ever decide to go a different path

by the looks of ur car now you like it busy? I say go all out red lips and black spokes.

 

my vote: Volks, as is.

 

my vote is to go brushed steel on the volks. that'd be plain sex.
