Default lifetime alignment programs

the programs seem too good to be true. does anyone know any downsides to them?

I have always had my alignments done at Firestone under the lifetime program and have never had any issues.

thanks guys. there's a place out here in socal where a guy specializes in s2000 alignment, but he's far away. is an alignmnet a straight forward thing where firestone can do as well as anyone?

yeah, basically just loosening a bolt that allows you to move the little circle around to push/in out ..

a S2K specialist will know what to do exactly right away to get the spces needed.. u can get more caster by adjusting one first then maxxing out caster... or camber.. etc.

but a firestone tech can do the same thing.. just take him a little longer..

you'll be fine, thats the best deal i could imagine.. just be careful if your lowered or have really nice wheels

does the guys at firestone know how to adjust camber on a s2k? i took my car to a couple different shops, and they all tell me that i need camber kits to adjust camber, because stock s2k dont have that adjustment...

but ppl on the forum says that we have factory camber adjustment.

can andybody help?

i did alignments on our cars and all the alignment angles are adjustable from the factory.

the downside to the firestone alignment is they will align your car half-assed, as long as the computer screen shows "green" in all sections your car is done and your good to go. so your camber will be -1.5 on the left but -1.3 on the right, they wont take the time to match up the left from right or set it at the optimum setting.

find out how many visits "lifetime" qualifies for. some places only let you go once a year or so.
