a lil help with tires and rims

ive seen some on here run 275 40 17's on ap2 rims doesnt look like he has any issues wats the width of ap2v1 rims?...also im not 100 percent sure but imma ask when u say plus 45 or w.e that means the center of the rim is shortened to pull the rim in words?

The width of ap2v1 and ap2v2 are both x8.5" +60 something I believe. +45 is the offset, the closer to 0 it is the more concave it is, so it will push the rim out closer to the fender if you are running a lower offset. If your offset is too low, you have less space for tires, which is why people are recommending a higher offset. Most people have to stretch their tires to run 9-9.5", so it's going to be harder to fit 275 tires if your rim is too wide, then offset comes into play as well
