Default LM 22 vs. Pirelli 210 vs...?

Did a search, read the threads. I am in NC, noone wants to buy my car (!Why? It's in great shape?!), and so I am going to turn it into my winter beater on 1/1/04.....

We get a lot of ice, rare but sometimes voluminous snow... Which tire is best? I already have an extra set of OEM wheels. Capability.safety is more important than dry performance for these tires.

Thanks for opinions.

For the S2000 in your area I like the LM-22. It was rated the best performance snow tire in a German magazine. It has a good combination of handling wet and dry along with the ice and snow traction you will need.
Let me know if I can help.
Thank you

is it ok to use the Dunlop Winter Sport M2 in the rear and the Winter Sport M3 for the front? on stock wheels? will H and V speed rating an issue?

Thanks
