Looking for a bit more tire
So I'm currently running Advan GG II's 18x9 on 235/40/18's, and the off set is +42 square all around. I feel like I can run a bit more tire but I'm not 100% sure on what the ideal would be...so I thought I would ask the experts! I am leaning towards these tires need to order them soon as my current tires are hitting the TWI.

Here is what my car looks like currently.

There is a slight stretch but nothing crazy. I have my fenders rolled front and rear and also the bumper tab has been moved. I am going to be getting coil-overs to go a bit lower in the future and have toyed with the idea of a 3-5mm spacer for the rear, but if I can widen it out a bit with better tire fitment then I would rather go that route.
Any input is appreciated!

Thanks man.
I was thinking about 245/35, but was a bit concerned with the sidewall being too short. Roads here aren't terrible but I'd hate to destroy an Advan. Would the tire have a little less stretch? If so then maybe I would break even on the sidewall clearance...

Would a 245/35 upfront be too wide?
Go with a 255/35. Remember the 35 is an aspect ratio, not a unit of measurement. So 255/35 only has a slightly smaller sidewall than a 235/40, whereas the sidewall of 255/40 would be over 1/2" taller than the 235/40. Not only that, but the wider tire would give your rims more protection at the edges.
