Default Lost in the wheels

I've done alot of Googling and reading through he fitment guide but I keep seeing all sorts of info regarding different sizes and it's starting to make my head spin. Granted, I'm not very knowledgeable about wheels so I'm sure that isn't helping me.

How would this set do? Essentially I'm looking for an upgrade to my AP1 wheels (OEM+?). I want to avoid any need for fender rolling or modifications. My 03' is bone stock. Thanks!!

Those would need rolled fenders. You need to be over +50 on the offset to avoid rolling fenders.

if you want oem+ just get some oem ap2 wheels or there are the rep ap2 wheels that have good reviews from people here.

Yeah I've been looking for AP2 wheels but they're either crazy expensive or beat to hell. I would be interested in the rep Ap2 wheels though..

Best thing about AP2 wheels is they will fit your car without alteration and the speedo, ABS, etc will not be affected.

Not sure what "crazy expensive" is for you but $1400 is about the cost of refurbished AP2V1 or AP2V2 wheels at places like Hubcap Heaven. Some AP2 wheels appear here from time to time but don't last long. For reference I had a used AP2V2 front wheel refurbished locally for about $170 a few years ago. (This wheel is a spare for one I suspected was damaged but turned out to be fine.) Paid $100 for just the wheel so that totals $270 for one wheel or by price extension $1080 for a set. Prices have increased of course. Nine years ago refurbished AP2V2 wheels were about $600-$700 a set. Prices are sure to increase.

When I bought my 2006 car in 2014 it had horrible aftermarket wheels on it (made worse 'cuz they were black). Took me at least a month to find a complete set of "correct" AP2V2 wheels. When the set I found (on line) arrived it only had 3 wheels! Vendor found one wheel to be bad but shipped the rest anyway and "back ordered" the other one. Took another couple weeks to get that last wheel. All's well that ends well.

To get OEM wheels you may have to get them onesie-twosie. Spreads the expense. Watch eBay.

Totally agree and that's why I was originally looking for AP2 wheels but the search has been a lot more involved than I initially realized. I've realized that it's all part of learning the ins and outs of this platform like parts availability.

When I said crazy expensive, I was meaning that the ones I was seeing were either banged up or around that $1400 mark. It's been a very long time since I bought wheels so my idea of what's expensive is outdated. Now I know.

Def going to go with AP2 wheels it's just a matter of finding the right ones. You're right about getting them onesie twosie. I'm just having a hard time being patient lol.

I'd love to get a set of AP2V3 wheels but that seems like a pipedream

Only a matter of how much you want to spend. And your patience.

I have Enkei PF01s on my car. Lightweight and close to OEM spec, so no rubbing issues.
