Thanks for the suggestions but I think I'm going to try for an AP2 wheel. If I have a tough time then I'll def consider the PF01. Much appreciated!

If you change your mind the Enkei PF01's are darn near OEM spec (and Enkei made the AP2V1 and AP2V2 wheels). The wheels and tires in the link look wonderful on the car.

The wheels sell new for $1,100 and the tires sell for $700 or $1800 for the set (Tire Rack). There is, though, a savings in sales tax and the tires are already mounted and balanced on the wheels. Meet half way for lunch and bring them back in a couple more hours.

Leaving out expensive choices like CE28's or something like that...

Brand new AP2 V3's would be my 1st choice. However, these are also ridiculously expensive.

PF01's with a more OEM looking center cap would be my 2nd preferred option.

Or another reasonable looking good aftermarket option. Enkei, in general is a good go-to for this kind of thing.

I'm always a little leary on reman'd OEM wheels.

Enkei's build quality is high, and they meet JAWA specs for safety. Their coating finish is high quality too.

PF01's are lighter and stronger than the fully cast OEM wheels. Plus, they're easily available if you damage one. They look similar-ish to AP2 V1's too.

Mita Motorsports makes several ap2 size wheels, including reps, and including upsized reps (and other upsized reps).

Upsized meaning larfer width than stock, but fender roll not required.

About 25,000 miles on my refinished AP2V2 wheels without problems but the most that was done to them was remove some curbing and refinished them. Like I say: my sample of one (1) -- OK four (4).

Honda didn't make the OE (technically not OEM since Honda didn't make them) AP2V1 and AP2V2 wheels Enkie made them. Next time you pull a wheel look at the markings inside. . Mita may have made the AP2V3 wheels but all I know is it was neither Enkie nor Honda. Never seen an AP1 wheel off the car so I don't know who made them but I suspect Enkie. Anyone?

Yes, stock wheels made by Enkie. Enkie are the OEM supplier. Honda makes cars, not parts. Virtually none of the parts are made by Honda. So whoever made the part Honda assembled car with, is the OEM manufacturer. The part they supplied is the OEM part.

So OEM doesn't refer to Honda, refers to part maker. Reason term even exists is because of how car manufacturers rely on others to make the parts.

Yours were refinished from curb rashing. Doesn't mean that's all that happened to all the cores that a refinishing company turns around to sell.

Someone else's cores may have been badly bent via a pothole and then straightened.

I don't think anyone said that Mita made the original AP2 V3 wheels. It was probably Enkei that did that

Mita is RE-MAKING discontinued or classic wheels. As in...they recreate/replicate the design, and then forge the wheel in a few different widths and offsets.

So you can get an OEM looking wheel in other widths and offsets that were never offered by the OEM. And they're forged.

So if OP is looking for something that falls under the "OEM+" category, then a Mita wheel is right on the money.

I assumed the AP2 wheels were all Enkei someone recently posted the a photo of the AP2V3 wheel markings and they weren't Enkei.

The Mitas look very nice and have the proper offsets.
