Lower offset question
ok ive got a question..from what ive read S2000s use wheels with high offsets, but i dont understand why they cant run lower offsets? like a 18x8 +20 or so..i mean at stock ride height what would it rub? im sorry im new to this s2000 thing, ive been a 240sx guy for years and im used to everything being the other way around the lower the offset the better and the cooler looking..has anyone tried a low offset wheel? is there a specific reason why low offset are better for the s2000 ive seen some pretty wide rims on these cars but with like a +60 offset which give the wheel no depth which in turn (from a side view) makes the front and rear wheel look the same width. i dont mind if the wheels stick out of the fender it looks pretty sick to a degree expecialy if its got a nice fat lip call me superficial but i think i nice lip on these cars would look amazing..dosnt steph papidaks drift s2000 have low offset wheels?. thank you for takeing your time to read this and puttin up with my bad grammar its now 4:00am and this offset questions been bugging me for days.
well my last set of wheels was +35 offset all the way around. that was pretty flush. but i would not want to have an aggressive offset at stock height cause that just looks ghetto. but don't get me wrong, im all for trying out new stuff but the +20 offset will stick out a little too much
