Hey all... I purchased my S2K a few months ago and also purchased a set of OEM 2003 wheels with winter tires on it for the few days of cold weather driving I might do for the winter. I went to discount tire today to have the wheels installed and they told me that the 2007 lug nuts wont work for the 2003 wheels. I think he said my lugs were acorn and I needed ball? The ones installed are the factory lug nuts for the 07 S2K. I tried reading some and could not find that they were different. Am I being lied to or do I need to purchase the different lug he is talking about?

 

The 07 factory lugs are ball seat. You'll be fine.

 

Yeah I figured as much...I think they just tried to sell me on some lugs! Good thing I told him I would order online instead and left...
