Default LugNuts for Volk RE30's?

I picked up a set of RE30's for my BMW but I can't fit the 17mm socket into the lug hole to torque down the nuts.

And before someone asks...I have studs on the bmw too. So I have wheel nuts, not wheel bolts.

The nuts I'm using are Kics R40's.

So to the guys with RE30's...what are you using?

THANKS!

Maybe stupid question but are you using a thin wall 17mm socket?

The socket I'm using is "Thin Walled" - on the packaging.

I'll run by Sears or something later and see if there's anything thinner.

Yup, I can sort of wiggle it onto there, but I'm afraid of turning it because the socket still touches the wheel.

I'm taking the McGard nuts and lock off of my s2000 and putting them on the BMW and they fit.

The McGard comes with its own spline driver that is super thin. Fit into the hole perfectly.
