Default Max tire width?

What is the widest width anyone has run on the oem ap2 wheels, just wondering how wide i could go front and rear on these rims, of course with in reason, nothing that will reduce handling because the tire is compromised by being on a rim that is too narrow

The bigger the front the " heavier" the steering will feel.
Why do you want the widest tires possible??

He meant the front, you can put some wide ones on the rear.

im not saying that im going to put the widest tires on the car possible, im just wondering what the widest tires are so i can decide what setup i want to go with, and wider tires in the front will make steering heavier but it will also give me better turn in characteristics and allow my setup to reach a new handling limit, ofcourse wider fronts would go with wider rear tires to reach a higher level

Very wide tires on narrow rims will destroy your turn in feel.

Get new wheels and some rubber to match.

thats why i was wondering what the widest tire is that will not be too wide to diminish handling, i know i can go 255 in the rear bc the cr has 255, my real interest is if i can use 225 up front or if that will be a little to wide for the 7" width up front

225 is a common size people run on the front when going with a 255 for the rear.

yes but will that fit on the front rim, i wouldnt think that only going one size up would make a difference but i just wanted to make sure that 225 would fit without sacrificing grip
