Default Michelin Pilot Sport Cup Tires

Hey All,

I searched a little and didn't find much, but I am wondering if anyone has experience with these tires on S2000's. I am due for a set of new rear tires but after looking at the price of the OE tires I started looking at the Michelins. I use my car both street and autox/track, and it is not my daily driver.

What I want to know, is if I can get a decent amount of miles out of these tires using them in mixed conditions? Also, since it will not be a strictly street setup, can I get away jumping up in size to 245 rear / 225 front?

The car is stock and will most likely be putting a bar on the front eventually.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Chris

I have not driven them on the S2K but I have driven them and have gotten a lot of feedback on the tires. They are the most streetable tire I would have. They will also give the longest tread life of the R compound tires. At full tread depth they can even handle a little wet weather.
If I can help let me know.

Mine seem to be holding up very well.

Jim,

Thanks for the info, I will get with you if I decide to get a set of these.

Sideways,

Thats exactly what I wanted to see! Can you feed me a little more info...... tire sizes your running, mileage you have on them, where you mostly use them, and your satisfaction with them?

Thanks for the pic

Chris

I'm interested in your tire size as well Sideways. You're running them on stock rims?

I'm due for new shoes all around so I thought I'd look at these as well.

thanks
