mixing S02's and S03's ???
I have a 2001 S2000, and I am planning to replace my current Potenza S02's on the front end with Potenza S03 Pole Position tires. However, the S02's on the rear only have 6,000 miles on them. Should I be concerned about mixing these two tires, especially when I drive at the track?
I believe the S03 is slightly stickier, so I may find a little more tendency toward oversteer, but I'm wondering more about what concerns there might be under heavy braking.
I would appreciate any thoughts or advice.
Thanks!
Jim

Do NOT do it!!!
I just had SO3's put on my rears (not by choice, the delear told me they were putting on the OEM's & put on the SO3's) & my car is handling TERRIABLY!!!
I have a call out to Jim & have disputed paymnet with VISA. Thye got me while I was out of town & I had to get replacemnets.
I have no idea why it handles so differntly, but trust me it does !!!!

Are the S03's that much worse than the 2? I just talked with a dealer that said the 03's have BETTER dry (and wet -- whatever) traction than the S02.
I'm not looking for cheap tires that last a long time. I want melted gum. Failing that, I'll stay stock.
