Default Mod 7 Stagger?

I really wanted to pick up a set of black 18" mod 7's from Axis, but when I called they told me it wouldn't work. I just got my S (GTI, Civic si previously), so I'm not used to this whole Staggered wheel thing. I understand that my rear wheels are wider (I think 7.5 rear, 6.5 front?). But the mod is only available in 7.5. If I ran the 7.5's all around, what problem would their be? I tried to get the answer calling around, and everyone that I talk to seems to be a D-bag. Can someone help me out?

It's all about the offsets. The highest offset Axis makes is +45. That isn't going to work.

I think the problem with running 7.5's all the way around would be compromised handling. If have no concern with your car handling as well go with the mod 7's. I was looking at them when I was looking at wheels but instead I opted to spend a little more and got a lightweight, correct offset, staggard wheel used. I think its worth the extra money to go with the correct wheel fitment. You wont regret it down the line after your money is spent.
