Default Mounting Tire Technical question

I just got 4 Dunlop S02's mounted on my stock 16 wheels.

I have never been able to get a shop to mount the tires without them damaging the clear coat on the wheels. This time I stepped it up and paid more money to take my wheels to a high end store, figuring if people get their $5000 HRE's mounted here, they should have no problem mounting my wheels and not scratching them.

WRONG, they left a pencil erase chip on each wheel, where you can clearly see the gloss coat gone. Can these wheel mounting machines mount a tire without them chipping the wheel. Or am I just dealing with incompetent people, or just having bad luck with the shops I choose?

Maybe they thought my stock wheels are not as good as HRE's and just did not care?

I mount everything from steel wheels to HREs all day long and don't have a problem. It's the people not the machine....

Can those chips on the gloss coat be repaired?
