Default MY04 V1 in anthracite, with red...

I have a black '06 that I want to make darker! So thinking anthracite refurb.

I want to change the H logo on the centre caps to red so ordered some stickers on ebay for a few £.

I already have red calipers but i'll re do them so they are fresh. What paint should I use?

I'm thinking either grey lug nuts or red (well more anonised pink!). Something like these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/D1-RED-SHO...b7e184c&_uhb=1

I know they will chip etc but i'll try and be real careful! They won't be amazing quality for the price but as long as they hold my wheels on!!!!

Red lugs maybe too much red? Could also go red dust cap too if I want to be a real rebel!

Anyway, the style looks good on this civic I think so i'm stealing it and it's going on my S as well!

Anthracite looks great on berlina (actually it looks great on every color). My opinion may be a little biased though, as I have anthracite wheels on my berlina. The red H would be a good accent to accompany the red calipers. I would stay away from those lug nuts though. It has nothing to do with them being cheap or off of ebay, it has to do with those are tapered lugs. They are designed for aftermarket wheels and will not hold the oem wheel on safely. I wouldn't trust the adapter washers that are used to adapt tapered lugs to ball style oem wheels. For lugnuts, I would recommend picking up a set of USDM 08-09 CR lugnuts. They are black so they will look better than the stock chrome and can be put up to a little abuse before looking like crap. Honda also offered black lugs on the NSX that will work as well.

Thank you! Great advice! I'll avoid those nuts then I didn't consider that they might not even be compatible! I'll keep an eye out for those you have suggested! I can't see them being too easy to source though!

There is a vendor (or a used to-be vendor) on this site that was selling cheap colored lug nuts. I bought a set of black lug nuts from him for an awesome price. They look just like CR lug nuts but for a fraction of the price, and are ball seats just like OEM.

*Edit - His user name is DRFlickner. I would hit him up to see if he has any left.
