I recnetly got in an accident a week ago and bent my front wheels really bad, now i ordered a new front stock wheels from Honda. We all know that the new 04 s2000's comes with 2 diffrent wheels sizes which is front

Genuine Honda S2000 - Front wheel 17X7

and the rear

Genuine Honda S2000 - Rear wheel 17X8.5

totally diffrent sizes .. now my problem is the wheel i ordered, is the front size 17X7 ....now hondaswheels.com ed up my orders and sent me the wrong size wheel which is 17X8.5 this is for the rear !! i needed the front!!!..now im totally pisssed ..now my question is, will there be any problems if i installed this diffrent sizes wheel since theres only .5mm problem in size. is this ok or not okay.. will it affect on how the car drives?? or should i just return the wheel and get the right size?

Send them back. 1.5" is big difference. I would also verify that they charged you for fronts and not rears.

 

Definitely send them back. If the '04 wheels are anything like the 16" 00-03 wheels, the rears will not fit on the front. The hub rings are different sizes.

 

what's even more scary is you can MAKE them fit if you force it in there....
it would be nice if Honda designed it in a way that there is NO way you could put a rear on the front.....regardless return it.
