Default Need help on beefier tire sizes...

So i've been tire shipping lately and want to go larger in the front and rear, but I dont know a thing about tiring sizing and fitment. I figured some of the wheel gurus out there could lend me a hand.

Specs are 18x8 +42 in the front and 18x9.5 +36 in the rear. The current tires are Falken 452, 215/35/18 and 245/35/18. Looking to add some more rubber onto my wheels, the stretch is too much for me, I like the meatier look.

Next logical step is 225/40, 255/35.

Agreed.

I just don't see you adding much more tire with those wheel specs beyond 225/255. Outer fender clearance is holding you back as I'm sure you can visually see some indication of.

Ya absolutely. In the future I will be re-lipping my wheels and going with downforce fronts and asm rears, but until then I'm gonna just throw some new rubber on and tackle that project next winter.

I'd really like to add these beefier tires on and add spacers all the way around. 20mm front and 10mm out back

Thats going to be tough even this the widebody stuff. Anything is possible but it won't be easy.

On your current set up get a 225 and 255 and go with something like an RS3 that runs wide and you will get the look and performance you want.

With those wheels you are going to need more negative camber and a fender lip roll to make them fit without rubbing.

The reason you don't have beefier tires now is because your wheel specs are too aggressive. You'll run out of less usable tire space(width) by using spacers too. I don't see running beefier tires + spacers being possible without fender mods first.

Man does anyone read? He already talked about doing some widebody work for the spacer/widening of the wheels. Do the sizes recommended and get a tire like an rs3 that runs wide and you will be happy.
