Default Need help from the experts with 19" wheel offsets

Hi all, i am looking at getting a set of 19" wheels on an 00 model and just want to confirm that the offsets will work without scrubbing if lowered between 1.5-2". I have done a bit of research into this and i think that it is time to get some help from the experts on this forum

The offsets i was thinking of are :

Fronts 19x8 +50 (will this stick out too far?) - Based on wheel offset calculator compared with stock wheel the distance from wheel to the front strut will be 14mm less and distance to outside edge will be 24mm more...is this too much?)

or 19x8 +57 (will this be too close to the inside strut?) - Based on wheel offset calculator compared with stock wheel the distance from wheel to the front strut will be 21mm less (is this too close to the strut?) and distance to outside edge will be 17mm more)

Rear 19x8.5 +57 - Based on wheel offset calculator compared with stock wheel the distance from wheel to the front strut will be 5mm less and distance to outside edge will be 21mm more...is this too much?)

and what size tyres should i ideally run on a 19x8" wide front and 19x8.5" rear ?

Can the wheel experts on this forum please let me know your thoughts. I am very close to getting these wheels so if you could help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

No not lowered yet, but will be lowered between 1.5-2 inches on coilovers. Probably look at running 225 wide front tyres and 255 rear.

Thanks

+50 w/ 225 up front and you'll rub on the outside fender lip,
+57 w/ 225 up front and you'll rub on the inside fender liner,
solution, get the +57 (if they clear the brake caliper) and run a 3mm spacer to get a +54 which will work.

+57 w/ 255 on rear is close but I think it will clear.

Good Luck

I am running a 19x8 in the front. I think the offset was 50 but were made to fit the biggest brakes made for the S. I had to sent them to I-forget to get 3mm shaved off of the inside of the hub b/c I was rubbing on the fender when turning. In the rear I have 19x10. I think the offset is 73 (around there) I do not rub at all in the rear and am almost as low as I can go on billstine coilovers

My front tires are 235 35 and the rears are 275 30 Hope this helps

Thanks for the info so far guys!

So if i decide to get 19x8 with +50 offset at the front with 225 wide tyres and 19x8.5 with +57 offset at the back running 255 wide tyres, lowered 1.5-2" then i should be fine?

Jim or anyone else that may be running similar specs, any comments?

Thanks
