Need help finding wheel (details inside!)
(forgive any typos - I've got some fingers braced due to injury)
I've searched high and low, but come up with very few options. Here is what I'm looking for:
17" diameter
8" width for the front
9" width for the rear
five-spoke design
light weight (20lbs or less)
as close to stock offsets as possible
I have not found a single pre-fab (e.g. not custom) wheel that meets these demands. The TR F3s come close, but are only available on OEM widths (7" and 8.5"). I have seen some six-spoke wheels that meets these requirements, but I do not like the looks of six-spoke wheels.
Does anybody out there know of wheels that meet these requirements? I'm trying to avoid the expense of going custom, especially since I haven't the foggiest clue where to even begin looking for custom wheels anyway.
I'd just hate to drop $1600 on wheels that I'd end up replacing later anyway.
If there aren't any wheels that meet my desires, then please post up! I don't want to keep looking if I'm not going to find anything anyway!
So far, the TR F3s are my fall-back wheels. Love the weight, love the look, just not crazy about the width.

Yeah, they look like smoother AP1 wheels, which I think look great. If Honda had made the AP1 wheels slightly wider and in 17" I wouldn't even consider changing.
I've been looking high and low for wheels to match these criteria because as I've measured on my current set of (non-OEM) tires, I've got a 1" stagger front to back, and I *love* how neutral the handling is. Most people prefer to stick with the larger 1.7" stagger to retain some understeer, but I'm not "most people". I've been trying to match my current stagger as close as possible with tires, which puts me anywhere from 20mm (low) to 30mm (high) stagger. If I'm going to run 245 tires in the rear, I'll need to run anywhere from 215 to 225 tires in the front (225 being preferred).
I searched around for opinions/experiences running 225's on stock front AP2 rims, but came up short. All I could find were discussions on front sway bars.
I'm tired of looking, so I'm at a point where I'll just take what I can get, run "stock" AP2 tire sizes (not true tread sizes, just the tire width), and hope for the best. I'd hate to ruin the handling of my car by increasing stagger and losing my neutral steer (I hate the way our AP2 drives), but trying to track down an appropriate rim is maddening.
Errr, sorry for the rambling.
