Default Need help picking tire size

Just purchased a set of CE28N and they are 17x9 +40 & 17x9.5 +40. Looking for a functional tire setup that wont change my speedo too much. The following is what I have done:

-Fenders rolled
-Tabs relocated
-Front camber -2 / Front toe 0"
-Rear camber -2.6 / Rear toe 1/16"

If I decide to go with a staggered tire setup, would 235 in the front be too narrow?

I dont know what your ride height is as it plays some roll, but with your current fender mods and camber spec with your wheel widths/offset, the only tires that will currently fit without rubbing will be a 235/40 up front and 245/40 rear.

If you pull the front fenders you can squeeze a 245 up front. If you add another .5 degree of camber in the rear you should just barely clear with a 255.

I have about a 1.5 finger gap and plan to keep it around the same. I dont like being slammed low as I live in Downtown Los Angeles and the roads are pretty terrible. I forgot to mention that I do have a slight pull in the fronts as well. Thanks for the info. So I guess its either 245/40 all around or go 235/40 up front and 255/40 in the rear after I add more camber. Hmmmmmm

255 up front wont fit with your offset, but you can do any other combination you want really, just depends on how you want your car to behave at the limit of adhesion. Some guys dont care about that because its driven just as mild street car and rather be able to rotate tires. Personally I think the S handles best with a stagger. How much of one is up to you. Go 235 or 245 up front. Your running a stagger rim already, might as well stick with the corresponding tire stagger in my view.

I dont plan on going 255 up front. I was in between going either 235/255 or 245 all around. Thank you for all the info, I really appreciate it. I will probably end up going stagger to be on the safe side of making sure the tires fit.

So after deciding on two different tires I wanted (V12 or HTR ZIII) it looks like they both dont come in 235/40/17. Would 225/45 be too much of a stretch on a 9 inch front?
